Well, I do think that saddle is corrected for intonation.

Sounds okay to me. Not distinctive in any way, not bad either.

Sounds fine to me! Add a set of flats and let them mature for a year or two, and it ought to sound great.

The flats might help but for some reason I hear more high register than bass.

I think that has more to do with the way he plays and what he plays. Plus the way it's recorded.

Too much piezo in the mix, I believe.

With a piezo, it often helps to use a preamp before the amp for an impedance change.

That might be why I hear upper harmonics on the clip.
