I loved that actor as Jonah Jameson, he was perfect, it's the reason why I prefer this Spider-Man detachment to the new one.

Yup, I notived his rising popularity too, there is a bit of Homer Simpson to him. That "everyman"-type who wrestles with the fallacies of life each and every morning when he gets up.

Simmons is one of those actors who has done so many supporting characters with so many looks that one day when he gets an award, you are amazed at how many movies and shows you start to recognize him in.

He played the psychiatrist (Dr. Skoda) on Law & Order for many years. But his biggest presence on American TV these days is in the Farmers Insurance ads.
