Nice fiesta red Precision! Perfect pic for Cinco de Mayo.

Thanks for that! This bass came together very well indeed. These AVRI 63's are touted as (nitro) Seminole Red,
though for the life of me I cannot tell the difference between the color gradients. Fiesta works for me just as well... ;)
Stable....for now.    www.risky-biz.com

Seminole red makes sense. The Fiesta shade usually has more of an orange tomato soup or pinkish hue. I believe much of the color's variation depended on the nitro clear coat or lack thereof. For obvious reasons, there aren't many festive Native American holidays that involve copious alcohol consumption. Regardless, I'll still raise a glass to your very beautiful Seminole red Precision  :toast:
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Band pic of the metal group I'm in, Mucklers Circle. Playing my first gig with them Saturday. We will also be playing at the Rise Above fest in Maine in July. We should also get a crack at playing a newly renovated venue in Portland Maine called Aura.

I'm not a fan of tattoos or piercings so I went with a Horse shoe mustache to look like I have some metal street cred.

Not sure if I posted this- here's me and the current band.

Don't say that like it's an unusual experience!  :-X

In Australia we are all brothers. She plays a Telecaster but likes TBirds. I am trying to convince her she needs a Firebird A white one like Lizzy Hale's would be good.

Of course, in my clichéed, compartmentlized world, I assumed she was the singer.  :-[ :-[ :-[

Firebirds are lovely, but Teles look good on wimmin too.

I thought Lizzy plays Explorers mostly?

She sings and plays geetar.
Lizzy with the Firebird I was referring to in this clip- certainly plenty more pics around of her with Explorers.

Thanks soooooo much for posting this!  :-* :-* :-* :-*

I'm a sucker for that song, lyrics, story, melody and all. I know it's Mutt Lange penned drawing board confectionery and that Ann Wilson hates the lyrics and message (I don't have issues with it, this has happened a million times all over the world in the past and now) plus thinks it should have been a Shania Twain song, not a Heart one.

And Lizzy is hot plus I like Halestorm as a band.

Oh, Ann seems to have had a change of - no pun intended - heart about the song!

Here is me:

Playing my Thunderbird-powered Jazz bass with Jim Dunlop flatwounds. Blasphemy 'n' all that, but this is yet another gig where I turn up with my Tech21 VT:DI, tell the sound guy it runs on phantom power, and he's the happiest guy in the building. I had some sort of TC Electronic amp up there blasting into the back of my legs.

Yeah I look like some sort of viking thug here, but we're not a moody band at all!

Switched to imgur after the photobucket implosion.  See if this works...

I have no idea what I'm doing with my foot.
