Is that to the tune of "Smoke on the Water?"   :o

"Craaaaaaaaabs ...on your oooooooooooorrr-gan

A fiery itch will not subside ...."

Ian Gillan could have come up with that!

Jon Lord played mostly with a synth on A 200 though, not just with his organ.

Freud, yet again ...

[Cylon] By your command [/Cylon]

None of you have sussed the Highlander link and the avatar, and it's not to do with relocation, though it's apt ...

Okay, that stone is a clan grave marker, and I'm descended from those that got away after the failed Jacobite Rebellion, with a price on their heads, but have none of those with English/Scottish history knowledge clicked to the significance of the vote for independence being in this year ... ?

The English are dreading another defeat ... my lot were there too, reputedly ... ;)

(Crab meat again, don't know where don't know when, but I know you'll serve up crab meat once again...) with apologies to Dame Vera

So you are a raging renegade secessionist, McKenny? Didn't Stallone yell "HADRIAN!!!" all the time too?

Yes indeed, but wasn't Stallone always calling out Butt-Kiss too ...?

Anyway, Uwe, you should know your history ... divide and conquer ...

Give it a few more decades; maybe the 800th anniversary, and all that will be left of them will be their language ... ;)

ah, yeah.......

Been meaning to leave this here for Uwe, just having a little fun with his bass.....

That's a nice pic he left on my computer screen  ;)

That bass is a wonderful match with your silver fox looks. You should get one for yourself. Grey levis couldn't hurt either. Some nice straight fits would offer a nice balance to all that cross dressing.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

You're getting all mixed up with his sister, Veronica ... ;)

Mark looks very Westcoastish on that pic. Vegan, liberal, second marriage to a yoga instructor, but immensely rich due to Apple stock. For the autumn of his life he could now get a real job with the Grateful Dead or offer breathing classes for bassists.

It's one of the benefits of being a guy that you don't have to dye your grey hair and chicks even dig it that you don't.

I am working slowly on it.  My dad has been a "silver fox" for years now, so at least there's some genetic encouragement :)

We had this completely silver-haired French teacher in the days before the term MILF existed.  .... anyway, that works both ways is my point.

So far it's mostly my beard that's going grey, the top is just shedding.

Mark DOES look west-coastish, with good reason.  If he traveled much farther west, he'd be in salt water.

A distinguished looking fellow, fer sure.

This sounds familiar to me...my daughter once had a job at a trendy chain clothing store called "The Buckle", and the manager (a chubby nightmare stuffed into pink sweaters too small) once said her style didn't match the store, telling her she was "west coast casual".  This - from a lady who dressed like a fuzzy pink sausage...to my slender daughter who was 5'8", weighed about 135 pounds, and has always had a nice sense of dress.

We have been laughing about this and trying to figure out what it meant for years.

I AM very West Coast, vegan.....not so much, tho I did the vegetarian thing for 3-4 years. No yoga, no second wife ( Miss Peacock co habits with me that's plenty!)  Seattle Lighting isn't the most generous employer, but it'll do. Thing about the hair is, that after a lot of years dying it, I finally just let it go last year, that and cutting it off into a USMC "High n Tight" = nothing but compliments from the ladyfolk ever since! Who knew?

I second, I second, absolutely true! But then in this day and age you can do a lot with photoshop - let's see how the real thing looks upon closer inspection in September/October.

Frau Kidman has just been turned from 46 to 16 in the new Jimmy Choo campaign, so much that even the fashion magazines splutter about it:

Or maybe it is her daughter.
