I have no worries as long as border control there doesn't take aviation recognition tests from immigrants.

I'd have automatic right of entry to Alba, Ari, by parental rights

Automatic entry into Alba by parental right!? Sounds good to me but those are some strange laws. I wonder how Jessica feels about this?
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

That is the nicest brother pic we've had in a long time in this particular thread if I may say so as the GlobMod!!!

I somehow like the wool fabric of her turtle neck, very expressive, yet skin-flattering. Scottish quality no doubt, as it tends to be windy and chilly there so that only the most erect, bone-hardened men can withstand the furious climate.

Not to mention those cute wool providers nippling all the grass there.

A few wildcats up there ... no Hellcats as far as I know ... maybe a couple of Ford Corsairs ... ;)

It's all fun until someone loses an eye.

Ken, you change monikers more often than Elizabeth Taylor changed husbands ...

Not exactly, it's a Les Paul Double Cut, but it does have the mahogany/walnut/maple sandwich body that was also used in the Money bass.  Apart from the lack of $ on the truss rod cover and finish, it's pretty much the same as far as I know.

I didn't know that there were Doublecuts that had the walnut "tone plate" too. They started out just Maho plus maple top. Then again, once Gibson had production for the Money running, why differentiate for the Doublecut? Actually the only series produced Gibson Bass with three woods, come to think of it.

We've discussed this before... http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=8480.msg139619

It's hard to tell what's a Money bass and what isn't, given the amount of variance in hardware colour and knobs across all models, but I'm going with if it ain't got a $ on the TRC, and it isn't Manhattan Midnight or Natural, then it isn't a Money bass.

My DC with tone plate (yes I did end up buying the one I was talking about :) ):

We've been on a hiatus since Halloween (our guitarist of the past ten years retired) and after a bit of
searching found a great newie to take her place, we're off to the wilds of Pt Angeles in mid May for our first shows - pretty excited!

Meantime....
