I miss both my guys - Sam Giancana and Pretty Boy Floyd.  Gangsters asleep.  They used to spend the day in my office when I worked from home.

Dogs rule, Al.  I know your pain.  I still miss our border collie after 3 years.  She was special.

I couldn't resist - I found a better shot of Max.  Pretty much your definitive 22-pound wooly mutt.  I think wooly mutts are great dogs.

Thanks for the kind notes, guys.

Been there numerous times, when one passes I swear never again. There is still a dog in the house. I hope Max rests in peace.

Like most dogs....they're about 2000% in for the snacks.  Point them at food and don't stand in the way.

I stole that quote from a condolence card friends made for their beloved dog some years back, actually contacted them via email now and they retrieved it, I think it fits here too:

Cool condolence card.  8)  It definitely captures something about dogs.

I LOVE the shot of the cat as the camera pans left and we discover that he's wearing horns.

Somehow the piano music and the French narration are perfect.
