I use an EV crossover and an SVP-PRO tube pre. 4 single rack spaces and very light for the power.

First post newbie here!

Living in South Florida for the last thirty or so years. Started playing bass when I was fourteen wanting to be Sir Paul. Had the Hofner and all.

Current rig it pretty simple, Melancon MB-4>Line6 XDS95+ wireless>Fuchs Audio/Plush Jersey Thunder>Thunderfunk TFB-550A>tuner out to Sonic Research ST-200 and to SWR Henry the 8x8.

Playing classic rock and blues ...

Welcome, Boomer.  The SWR Henry is an awesome rock cab.  I miss mine.  If SWR made a "Golight" version of Henry that weighed around 70lbs it would be a winner for sure.

Thanks, Mark.

I replaced an Aguilar GS115 and GS210 with the Henry.

I wrote SWR trying to date this particular cab. It's certainly pre-Fender and may be from the first run ever with serial number 249. No response from SWR/Fender ... naturally!

It is in need of recovering. The carpet on the bottom is almost gone.

Hi Boomer, nice rig, Interesting bass.
It is a joy to play.

The only thing I've done to it, besides having Melancon do a full setup and fret dress recently, is replace the stock DiMarzio DP120 with a Sadowsky P bass pickup. Huge difference!

The bass weighs in a just a bit over 7.5 pounds and has an extremely comfortable Jazz bass sized neck, ash body and maple neck.

Spiritbass

Pricey, but otherwise no complaints - a 12", eight-ohm Bronco Creamy Scout:

Here's my "other" rig, in action last week with my RD Standard.  Alembic F-1X, QSC PLX1804, Mesa 2x12 and 1x15 cabs .....
