It's kind of cool. Wonder if the charred wood affects sound much? (Looking around uneasily) There is no established physical rule that the degree of charring does not affect sound, is there?

OK, I know I have asked y'all to keep an eye out for me for a cheap/trashed EB2 body and neck, but I guess I should clarify that when I said 'trashed,' I had somewhat less of a write-off in mind.  Thanks tho.  :P

If the pickup is working and the hardware isn't heat-damaged, he'd be better off parting it out. Since he's not, I'm guessing that most or all of it is unusable, although maybe salvagable.
