Recently I was cleaning up my shed and came across a video that I had forgotten even existed. I've just started going through the process of moving it from tape to digital (Its a 2 hour show). It is of a Deep Purple tribute band that I played in back in the late 80's.

Here is a sample from the vid. Sorry about the sound as I remember it was just the mic on the camera which was placed at the desk.

Excellent Bret!

Here's a little snippet of my band playing in Maasmechelen Belgium last november.

I'm the one with the red guitar.

Your in some excellent bands. Still listening to All Through Life.  Is Vancouver that happening of a punk scene?

The Deep Purple Clip was really cool, you guys were great. Good sound quality too, considering 90% of youtube videos of live recordings are horrendous, sound wise.

The punk and hardcore scene here is pretty decent. A bit splintered, but still some great bands around.

Here's one I just put on MySpace.  It's one of a very few attempts I ever did at songwriting.

You can go to MySpace, and check my video section

Gary, the video isn't working. Can you post a separate URL?

This is my very NOT serious bunch of mates band that we throw together a few times a month.  Havent practiced with this band for over a year but the songs are simple and it always seems to come together on the night. Good guys, low stress a bit of fun and of course we never play without being paid.

Bret, great clip, nice bass work and as Mark said, excellent sound quality. Did you record the sound from the board?

Thx Mark and John. The sound was recorded separately into a small digital mobile studio setup and I have matched the audio to the vid after the fact. You can tell if you look closely (at Daves singing) as I'm still learning about all this video editing stuff.
