Ring of Fire..............

Due to the obvious popularity of this tune  ;)   I figured I would put a recent live version done by the Crocs which is the "No practice, throw it all in a bucket and stir band" that I'm with.

Nice!
I have very fond childhood memories of riding in a pickup truck with my Dad going Fishing that "Ring of Fire always brings back. :)
I finally prevailed upon the rest of the Nasty Habits to give this song a try at our last rehearsal, our take is based on Social Distortion's cover of it. Needless to say, it's on the setlist  ............Great song!

It's the album just before Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell.

Funny, I don't have the original, just the Social D and Wall of Voodoo versions.

I have heard that before. I have no idea what it means as there is no footwear that I'm aware of in Oz called Crocs.  The band is called the Smokin' Crocs. Its a very loose fun band that doesn't take things too seriously but has a lot of fun doing gigs about 3 times a month.

Crocs

Unfortunately, they'll probably reach your shores soon enough. Don't blame me.

Ah yes I have seen them, just not heard them called Crocs.  I think I have heard them refered to as Scrub shoes.

Recently I was cleaning up my shed and came across a video that I had forgotten even existed. I've just started going through the process of moving it from tape to digital (Its a 2 hour show). It is of a Deep Purple tribute band that I played in back in the late 80's.

Here is a sample from the vid. Sorry about the sound as I remember it was just the mic on the camera which was placed at the desk.
