Apache - (Written by Jerry Jordan, inspired by 1954 Burt Lancaster film Apache; British group The Shadows, 1960)
Jack the Ripper - (Link Wray, 1961)
Runaway - (Dion and the Belmonts, 1961)
Malibu Blue - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Green Onions - (Booker T, 1962)
Sleepwalk - Santo & Johnny Farina from Brooklyn – went #1 in 1959.
Wipe Out - (Surfaris, 1962)
2nd Set:
James Bond Theme/Secret Agent Man - (John Barry arranged Monty Norman’s 1962 composition – guitarist Vick Flick also played guitar on the famous TV series The Prisoner. Johnny Rivers made the second number famous in 1963 with his live recording at the Whiskey-a-Go-Go in Los Angeles - it was the theme from the British TV series Danger Man)
Penetration - (The Pyramids, released as a single in 1963, hit the top 20 in 1964)
For Jessica - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Time is Tight - (Booker T, 1969)
Fat Dog Walking - (Original composition by Mark Williams)
Telstar – (1962, released by the British group the Tornadoes 5 weeks after the world’s first communications satellite went into orbit. Recorded with a unique keyboard called a clavioline, sold at least 5 million copies.)
Wild Weekend - Written and recorded by the Rockin’ Rebels, it was originally the theme for a radio show in New York, released nationally in 1963.)
