Title: Ampeg B25
Post by: tonebender on December 12, 2010, 06:16:51 PM
I recently picked up this '72 B25, had it gone through and paired it with this Mesa RoadReady Cab with a 15" Jensen Neo speaker. I use it for studio work and in my shop. 40watts of tube goodness and I'm really impressed with the tone from the Neo (and the light weight). My DarkStar P-bass really shines through this rig.

Excellent! I used to run a V-4B through the same cab. That's gotta sound great. I'm a big fan of that cabinet design and use it to this day as part of a 210/115 cab I built several years ago.  ;D

That looks like a great little rig. Mesa box looks like an EV TL606 on its side.

Awesome! I rehearse with a B25B and a 1x15.  Great little amp. I have the 2x15 cab that goes with it waiting for new drivers.
