I was searching for this thread to post a video that featured a Gibson RD Artist bass
But it looks like there isn't one. So I'm starting this one here.

Mick Hawksworth with Alvin Lee's Ten Years Later (not after)

RD's have been featured in the Fat-Bottom Girls video thread:

Nothing wrong with its own dedicated thread though.

The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

My goodness, Ellen Foley did look scary back then with her anorexic panda bear image!  :o

A number of us looked scary then and even scarier now.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

I thought she was kinda cute (not sexy, not beautiful, just rock chick cute), Manga image before Mangas became popular. But you're right, she also had that heroin look to her.

To a lot of people, her voice  was an acquired taste too, but she was part of the early Meat Loaf sound. Karla DeVito's vocals (her successor with Meat Loaf) weren't perhaps quite as an acquired taste, I liked her solo album at the time as well.

And Ellen looks healthier these days.

She may look a bit healthier. But she sounds horrible with that out of control vibrato that has become two notes.
