The pickup is more towards the bridge than I thought I would be. And I like the black hardware in the earlier picture very much. Besides this this is a very interesting/nice bass!

but I'd grab my '69 NR Thunderbird if the house was burning. My main bass since '78

There's a reason I can relate to. I do not have only one favorite at the moment. But if the house sets on fire I probably would take ehhhh,......... Chris's 4005 as I would feel very embarresed if I'd lost someone else's bass this way. Runner up is my own '73 4001.

Shit. Now you've missed me while I was on my way to United Parcel Service to ship something to the USA. You should have told earlier Chris.

Only if he's bought some Azureglo paint.  ;D

Well, I did get a quote from one of America's prime RickenLuthier's for a refinish recently.

I would be happy with whoevers 4005. I'm not picky who's it is. Any 4005 will do. I'm even willing to paint it azureglo myself if it is in a different color.

Philthy Taylor constantly trying to be funny. Quite annoyingly so.

I remember one quote from him which I really did find funny (in its context in the movie).

"Well actually Lemmy's a guitarist,................ He just couldn't handle six strings."

Who would win in a fight. Lemmy or God?

Huh? I always thought Lemmy is god.

Tis een promo, maar ik stuur hem wel door als ik klaar ben:)

Would be nice. :) I have every official studio album they sold in Holland. I still buy every new album but must admit the newer ones hardly get more than 2 listenings.

I like your black & blue Ric, Bert; that's a great color combination.   is that factory or did you customize it?

The Warwick is customized with original Warwick hardware (it used to have gold hardware). The Rick is factory MIDnight Blue with BlackTrim.

The theme here is blue with black hardware. I took this picture for the Warwick forum.  There they mistakenly thought the Wick wears the pants..... (With 5 Ricks in the house.)
