Sax Appeal
« on: June 09, 2008, 03:39:52 AM »
Friends have been recommending Candy Dulfer to me for years, so I finally just got her '93 cd Sax a Go Go. Fun stuff!
Makes you feel like you're dressed in Armani & out on the town.
Anyone else into her? Born in Amsterdam, she's had her own band since she was 14!
Ain't she a beauty?

Girl can BLOW! heh Had to say it. lol

Her father, Hans Dulfer, is great too! I saw him play this weekend. I saw Candy just once when she did a guest appearance with Paul Weller, but I've seen her father a lot. Like me an ex car-salesman;) Even the same brand. He lives in an old windmill nearby.

But don't you all together with your wooden shoes?

Candy may look exciting in the promo pictures... but when she opens her mouth and starts talking, it's over. :bored:

Never cared too much for her music either. Too frumpy, instrumental, elevator background music.
Absolute depth point was the soundtrack of "Lily was here" with Dave Stewart.  :puke:

I managed to make it through about a minute of that swill.  :puke:

Now I'll have to cleanse my brain with something loud and fast.  ;)
