 The Red Violin inspired me to press Buy It Now on a '53 Gibson.
Highly recommended.

The Illusionist is very good. Jessica Biel is enchanting.

Saw a charming movie tonight--SILK starring Keira Knightley.
I'm reading a book called Along The Silk Road so I really loved this flick.

I've got this great DVD rental shop around the corner. The owner is a real cult film enthousiast and he has the most unknown films from all over Europe and the states. And everytime he surprises me with things. But don't ask me titles...

Titles I do know:

Withnail & I (the most quoted film of the UK) is great, so are 60s films like The Italian Job, The Thomas Crown Affair and Get Carter. And of course I mean the original with Micheal Caine and not the Sylverster Stallone remake..

Musicfilms like The Commitments, Blues Brothers, Ray, Spinal Tap, ... are great too.
