Slinkp! Heads up for a blue $ bass in the classifieds of the other big forum. Seller says it's going on e bay soon but he's only asking 700 now.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

ah, yeah.......

Been meaning to leave this here for Uwe, just having a little fun with his bass.....

That's a nice pic he left on my computer screen  ;)

We've discussed this before... http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=8480.msg139619

It's hard to tell what's a Money bass and what isn't, given the amount of variance in hardware colour and knobs across all models, but I'm going with if it ain't got a $ on the TRC, and it isn't Manhattan Midnight or Natural, then it isn't a Money bass.

My DC with tone plate (yes I did end up buying the one I was talking about :) ):

Recollection strikes! Walnut tone plate alright!

The Märklind boggles ...  :o :o :o :o :o :o Is he in Mark's "other forum" too? Crab meat and model trains anyone?

Ken, you will absolutely not use "jo on rails" as one of your future handles!!! We've seen enough decorum slippage here, but there must be boundaries!!! I'm adamant about this.

OMG! I'm SO NORMAL!!!!!!!!!

Sure!   ;)  Hey, we always knew your heart was in the right place!   8)

I was going to opine that anyone who plays with trains must be OK, but that theory is shot down now....

Boringly normal, Mark, face it.

Imitation crab meat that is. The difference is important as I suspect it to contain sexual innuendo. People like that do nothing innocent - ever.

IMHO "crab meat" is - thinly veiled - jargon for a meeting of pubic lice

from at least two different carriers.

None of you have sussed the Highlander link and the avatar, and it's not to do with relocation, though it's apt ...

Okay, that stone is a clan grave marker, and I'm descended from those that got away after the failed Jacobite Rebellion, with a price on their heads, but have none of those with English/Scottish history knowledge clicked to the significance of the vote for independence being in this year ... ?

The English are dreading another defeat ... my lot were there too, reputedly ... ;)
