That IS odd for something that old. My white '79 with black binding had white on the neck.

I wrote to the seller (through the listing) and asked if he could send his photos to me for use in the "maybe someday" 3rd Edition of the book. But radio silence.

That ebony board on a Ric looks plain weird and I don't see what aural benefits it would bring either.

The pink one I like because it is a nice pastel pink, not a garish one - like that obscene Stingray.

There's also a pinkish 4003. RIC used the hashtag #mykindoftownchicago so my guess is these will be sold by CME.
