The other day I was in Harry's Guitar shop and saw the following basses:
An older 4 string Yamaha in blue with Alembic P-bass pickups.
A '78 4001 (yellow with black pg, trc)
A 5-string Alembic, natural (mahogany, I think) and gold hardware,
A G&L L-2000 bass in transparent blue.
What I didn't see because it was scooped up by one of the employees, was a Series 1 Alembic 4 string with all the peripheral electronics and stuff. Wish I could have seen that.
Some lady in Nashville called the shop and asked if they'd take all this stuff as a package deal, which they did. Nice, nice stuff.
