NAMM 2023: Ernie Ball announces Slinky Flatwound electric guitar strings and Flatwound Short-Scale bass strings
Ernie Ball finally introduced Slinky rounds in short scale a few years ago, these short scale flats are long overdue.

This is for Musicmaster/Mustang style basses, Höfners with their afterlenghth require medium scale.

Or more specifically, for the Stingray short scale, that's why they started making them. The winding length is 32.5 inches.
