This is from May......I put a new set of DR's on that bass just before we took that trip, I played two shows with that bass for a total of 6 hours time on the strings.........They were so dead, I tossed 'em when we got home...........

One time I played 54 gigs in one year and like 50 rehearsals, all on the T-Bird with one set d'Addarios. The strings were not only dead, but the fretboard was covered with a black layer of skin, beer, sweat, blood, ...

And I was concerned I didn't change my strings enough.  Not anymore!

I don't know who those wallflowers are behind me.rest band is on otherside.the split P was there when i bought it.i have long since removed all stickers and i have a new pick guard and pickup.so once my lazy ass gets it all together it'll be back to stock.

i have used sets of flats for a year or more. the only reason i ever change a set is to try something else and the old strings usually resume life on something else.
