The Struts - the new British Great White Hope?
« on: April 20, 2016, 12:26:29 PM »
For those of you who like The Darkness, Towers of London, Hanoi Rocks with some Queen and a bit of Def Leppard thrown in for good measure .... And want every song to have an anthemic chorus.  Their debut album "Everybody Wants" (... The Struts of course!) is good fun and catchy as hell, also dumb, but in a good way. And the singer can rrrrrrrrroll a nice "r" just like the late Freddie M. could.

Thanks for the heads up.  Never heard them before and it made my daily commute a bit more entertaining this morning.

While not British, check out Foxy Shazam.  Similar vein.

He rock's a mean blouse!  ;D

I've been hearing another of their songs on the radio and have really liked it.  I do like these kids.

One can only wonder what their influences were?
