I'm kinda bummed the seller says he didn't receive payment. I check paypal and there it is siting unclaimed. It went to the address he gave me no typos. I canceled the transaction and asked him to send me a invoice. I have not heard back. I am thinking he got a better offer. Oh well.

That's the Uwe Hornung signature model. All black hardware  ;)

IIRC Jerry Casale's bass in when Devo hit it big was his spudbass, the Ripper with the horns sawn off. He did have a red plywood bass that was sort of phallic, it was the shape of an upside down T. It had a neck from an EB-3 he had played early on.

You keep the Goth Extreme out of this!!! That wasn't a bad bass by any means, just too long designed for any primates other than Gibbons and Orang-Utans.

I might have risked spousal ire for that one for the current price (fix n flip locally) but the seller won't ship.  Looks weird but good without the binding on the body.

I put the first bid on that, but I'm not pursuing it any further. I'd like the electronics from it for a build but have no use for the rest of it. I picked up a Triumph a month or so ago and it's all that I've been playing on gigs.

I have a 71 Body that is all intact that I'll probably get on ebay this weekend. If anyone's interested I'll put up pics in the classifieds.

They do that to you.
