60's Thunderbird pickup anyone have one ?
« on: July 09, 2008, 04:13:48 AM »
As I am am writing this I am trying to figure out the pickup situation and I think I have a solution. I have a 60's pup that I was going to put into the Phoenix the shard of a NR tbird I bought off ebay and restored. Now I think I will put the original pick up in this beast of a '67 NR and put a Seymour Duncan repro in the Phoenix. Thoughts fellow Tbird nuts. Or if anyone has a 60's they want to sell let me know, I know it's the longest of long shots.

Thought I'd post this in case it helps.

They don't appear to be 60's pups (maybe OBG? Chandler?), but might fill the void

Oh a wise guy nuk nuk nuk. Thanks for the leads guys I was hoping against hope someone might have 60's one stashed away. I have some '76 covers I'll send them to Seymour Duncan for repro guts.
