I always found Soundgarden an acquired taste, the type of CD I'd listen to with some trepidation after taking a deep breath and saying to myself:
"Ok, let's try and be objective about this ...". When I first heard Black Hole Sun I thought:
"Why all these key changes, can't they make up their mind?" Audioslave was easier on my ears. But he had a nice voice and I kinda liked the image he projected. Hopefully, he will be able to continue developing his weird chord changes wherever he is. And Soundgarden were of course - together with Nirvana and Pearl Jam - one third of the Holy Grunge Trinity, leaving a huge mark on the popular music of the last 25 years or so.
Not another grunge hero suicide, please! He had family.
