That one is the more traditional looking Backlund designs. I really like it.

Nice ad here:

I would love to see one of those more far out designs as a bass. But hey, I play a Gretsch G6199B Billy Bo Jupiter Thunderbird Bass...

I'm not a fan of Backlund or his designs. Or his former company and the "luthier" he associated himself with.

I love it. Not $1,249 love it, but I love looking at it.

I really like the guitars. Basses are fine.... but the design of the guitars is really great!

You mean Bruce Bennett? Or back when he was with Warrior guitars? I remember Backlund himself turning up on TDPRI because some Chinese fakers had copied his designs, but I don't know anything about the guy beyond that.

I'm not fond of Backlund's designs. They look awkward, kitsch and the weird little body shape looks uncomfortable. A bit like Reverend there is something about each and every design that is a turn off for me.

Yes, Bruce Bennett. I'm not going to say what I think of him here, but if you're up to it, read this: http://www.mylespaul.com/threads/has-bruce-bennett-disappeared-problems.336150/

All I can say is that he displayed criminal intent in that thread. I don't know if everyone got their product or their money back.
