Picked up that 2x15 yesterday. An all Sunn outfit. :)

Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

That has got to be a great sounding set up Denis ;D.   I love that old Sunn stuff.

Denis

Thanks, Rick! I just tried out the 2x15 and it's ferocious! Before I plug both into the head, I'm going to check the wiring to make sure they haven't been rewired. Don't want to damage the Coliseum.

Those Sunn cabinets look awesome Denis.  Make sure you don't break any windows while cranking up the Coliseum!

Denis,
What kind of speakers are you running in those Sunn cabs......JBL??
Rick

I'll bet that's the loudest 300 watts in captivity!

Thanks! If I keep the volume at 2 I can play it in the house. :)

The 2x15 still has the Sunn-stamped speakers in it but I haven't looked in the 4x12 yet. Hmm, maybe I should get some beer and do an exploratory surgery... Which manufacturer typically supplied speakers to Sunn?

It is in my neighborhood, that's for sure. Bet I could stampede cattle with that rig. Hmm...

Thanks, guys! I'm happy as can be with the way this sounds. If the cabs are still wired as original then yep, I'm at 2ohms!

Some day I WILL have a Marshall bass rig!  That looks like ear bleeding heaven!  :o

Here's a pic from a few years ago.  My main rig is an Acoustic 320 with either a 408 (4x15) or 404 (6x12) cab.  Tonight we're playing in the middle two lanes of a bowling alley so the 408 should fill the room nicely.

I'll try to remember to get an updated picture at the gig.
can you post pics of those cabs?

Are you asking about the Acoustic cabs or everything in the picture?  The only things I still have that are in that picture are the Acoustic rig and the Precision.  GAS is a terrible thing... ;D

The 404 cab is long gone as well.  I think I have an old picture on the computer...I'll upload it.  I'm going to the rehearsal space later and can take pics of the 408 if you wish.

I do miss this cab.. it was punchy like an 8x10 but had a little more bottom end.

EDIT:  I forgot to bring my camera so I can take pictures of the 408 Friday at the Studio.
