I'm going to attempt some '60s style rings that will fit Artec and other 35 series pups.  Could somebody please supply me with these dimensions?  Also outside radius if possible. Either inches or mm.  Thanks!

Thanks, I've also seen the aluminum repros that Frets on the Net does.  The difference between the '60s and '70s is the smaller outside radius on '70s and chrome vs nickel plating.  Actually, I'm not sure about the plating on the '60s.

Aluminum machines and polishes fairly easily.  With a template it should be possible to make rings on my inverted pin router with the tighter inside radius that matches EMG, Artec, Duncan, etc. and the outside '60s TBird shape.

His patterns came from rings off my '65 and '76, so they should be spot on. And yes, his prices are fair and he's easy to deal with. Great guy.

Thanks to Lightyear for the dimensions.  This is .090 aluminum for ring and flashing on an Artec pup.  Flashing is too fragile, I'm gonna try .032 aluminum for the pup and a 5/8" interior radius for the ring

Not sure yet.  I need to make a few more to see if it's worth it and if there is enough interest.  Frets on the net already makes a 35 ring for $20 or so.  He could easily do what I'm attempting, Tbird outside, 35 inside.

How are the T-Bird pup covers coming along? I definately want one or two to have Curtis put some guts in them.
