Good call Joe! Def Leppard was my first-ever rock concert in 1983 in Tokyo Japan!

What the heck bass is Rick Savage playing in that clip anyway? Explorer shaped but with reversed headstock - does it say Gibson on there? I thought maybe Hamer...

Was wondering the same thing... sure somebody here knows.  Almost looks like the reverse in-line BC Rich heads, but not sure that's what it is. 

I wanted a Hamer like his when I was a kid - the one with the true explorer body shape...

Looks like a flipped over Hamer headstock to my eyes.  :o Kind of hard to tell tho with the fog and filtered look of the video.
