the starting bid is certianly reasonable but the model "1's" or D120's look a bit out of place

Home made body.
-
i don't have the knowledge or the eye to call one way or another. thanks Scott.

So clearly a fake it's not even funny. Grabber neck on a home-made body.

I'll bet the seller knows it too, even though he's a pawnbroker. Saying "It is marked G-3 on the headstock" gives him an out if an unsuspecting buyer finds out it's a fake. He's just reporting what the marking states.
-
It does have an old Charvel/Jackson bridge. Could the body be one of the Charvel ones they used to sell back in the 70's? I had a Dimarzio Explorer bass body before.
-
Can't believe nobody has said it yet: It's ugly.
The body is missing the "shoulders" at the neck joint.

Relisted with corrected description.

A bad idea that was poorly executed. :puke: :puke: :puke:
-
It would be worth the 99 cent opening bid if it weren't for the $29.99 shipping.

Such beauty, especially with blond long hair and matching over-knee boots:

I like this one

The unknown Gibson V, wonder where it went?

i saw that version of hot tuna. they make a very bad hard rock band.
-
I tried (but failed) to find a photo of the bassist with The Bottle Rockets. Right around the time of "Radar Gun" he was playing a funky Flying V bass with a Fender Jazz Bass neck.

That creature is hilarious. A spaceship!
A Flying T(bird) ?

That was Tom Ray. He left sometime before Brand New Year. IIRC it was a Warmoth body.

No, its a crossbreed between a shovel and a broom really! :P
Now, where's the closest bunker to hide...

Super nice guy. We cross paths on occasion. I made him a case for his 70s T-Bird about a year ago.

I saw him on TV not so long ago, playing upright. May have been with Neko Case.

More like a cross between a Guild bass(neck, pickups) and a home made body.

Any chance he could line up just one of the strings with the poles before shipping? Just one string, any string, I'm not fussy ......

Yeah, that's been his gig as of late.
