Title: Real NR or really good copy?
Post by: Ken on January 03, 2022, 10:36:54 AM
Can't tell if this is a one-off left-handed NR or just a really good copy.

Not sure, but it looks like one I recently played at Sweetwater music in Indiana.

The silver Gibson logo on the headstock, the shape of the pickguard near the fretboard, the three point bridge, the sixties repro humbuckers and the knob lay-out; it all point towards a 2021 NR Gibson T-bird.
I think they have been doing small runs of lefties on each series since 2017 or so.

Well damn.  I'm not that interested in the NR because of the thicker neck, but where are we supposed to find out about these runs?  When I got my 2013 Reverse, it was just sort of random that I came across info on the left-handed run, and one thing lead to another and I grabbed mine.  It sure would be nice for left-handed players to have better info on this stuff.
