My dogs new mission in life

Every time I go down in the basement I check the sump pump to make sure it works by shaking the tube, which activates it.

My dog is always with me, so he pickup on it by watching me. He has now made it his life's mission to activate that pump every time he goes down stairs. He's really proud of himself afterwards.

He also learned to open most the doors in our house (lever handles). He barges in the bathroom when my daughter is showering, freaking her out!

I think he does it just for her reaction.

I know you're amused, but just wait until he starts charging you for service calls.

The other night he went and opened the laundry room door and went in. My daughter gets up off the couch to see what he is into, then he runs back and steals her place on the couch!
