The seller has obviously been affected by the toxic water in Flint. For that matter, so has whoever appraised it.

Untreated siphoruse on your wood can lead to complications. Like confusing this with a 1965 Fender.

It was a 'stick guitar'?
I guess somebody took a 1965 Fender *something*, turned it into a Steinberger, then re-built it into a no-name solid ES-335-shaped instrument using exotic woods. :o Or it is some '70s Japcrap or random sub-Alembic hippie sandwich builder's output.
I wonder who did the appraisal. I've heard that Gruhn is off the boil these days and will evaluate something from photies if you pony up $50.

I doubt if any part of this was ever a Fender.
Gruhn has done photo appraisals for over 20 years, maybe much longer, always with disclaimers. I suspect this appraisal was done by some drunk the seller found lying drunk in the gutter.
