I was pleased as punch he got it. Some years ago he asked me to pick up a Curlee for him here, which I shipped to him. It was the first time I got to try one and found it a terrific bass, still one of the best sounding I've ever heard.
Then later I found one for myself, so I was happy that I was able to link him up with this one.
As an FYI, he posted pics on FB and someone chimed in that those wavy Grover tuners were called the "Titan" model by Grover. Never knew that!

They were called Titans and Grover called the wavy keys "butterfly buttons." Grover still makes Titans but the keys aren't as wavy.
