I didn't mean to insult anyone or their musical tastes, so much as poke fun at searching for substance in the work of The Ramones or Motorhead.
... I must say I do find it weird to be accused of acting superior in a place with so many vocally opinionated people, and having been the butt of enough jokes here myself; in this respect Dave's reaction in particular was ironic.
