A black bass photographed in black background. Brilliant.
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

Artistic, yes. Useful for potential buyers, not so.

Reminds me of the Greek GNP. There is more hidden than you can actually see.  8)

Actually, this bass must be a stage prop from the Black Theatre in Prague.

I do like the pic though. And as I've written before - do I ever repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat myself? -, the sound of those piezo bridge Explorers is warmer, more cutting and bassier than of their Grapper pup equipped siblings.

I think this bass looks extra cool in those pictures!
I already knew about the Shadow because Uwe owns a red one. And that one never caused me any GAS.

But the pics of this black on black... wow! Burp

Lucky for me, right now I just can't afford to buy a 900 dollar bass (plus shipping and all the other tralala)

I thought it looked super cool, especially since I own a Ric Shadow that is also a 1986. But then my daughter looked over my shoulder and said, "that bass looks so boring."
The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023

Nothing a router and a pair of chrome T-bird pups can't fix.  8)
