First I've heard of such a thing
After hot rodding a couple of basses when I was younger, I've turned in to one of those guys who believes that YOU should adapt to the instrument for the most part. I'm not above changing a few things to fit or work a little better but I'm not one of those guys who puts a Precision neck on an EB2 because I like the feel of the Fender I'm used too, but I like the style or the sound of the EB2. Instead, I would buy the EB2 and get used to the neck.
I would have a tough time jumping in to a twisted neck bass that was supposed to correct some problem I didn't even know I had.
I can imagine taking it in for a set up and having your tech call you up and tell you " boy it was tough , but I got your neck straightened out".
