Pickup placement formula - Ping Dave!
« on: October 04, 2010, 05:09:59 AM »
Hey Dave, I know we had this discussion years ago, but I can't find my notes on the formula for determining pup placement based on scale length.  Do you have that handy or a reference?
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

I hadn't seen the article on BuildYourGuitar, it's a good one. The article is just a few months old and I've never heard of Leonardo Lospennato but his book sounds interesting and I see he's built a "David St. Hubbins - Big Bottom Bass."  :)

Some strange stuff.  A BillyBo sort of bass that has possibilities.

Yeah. Some of the weird stuff that you usually see from boutique bass builders but also some that show he can think for himself.
