the truss rod cover on that Guild looks strange.

Maybe so but it looks original to me. In the later years I think it was plain.

Thank god you didn't mention the full-size Airfix model Spitfire from the first programme.

I just couldn't have been that cruel, Phil, what with the Yanks not having access to BBC iPlayer...  ;D

All I have left of mine (slots and trains) are 2 small goods trains... an 020 and an 030... I have a daughter... we have Barbies in the loft...  ;)

Congrats on the "new" bass ELJ, it looks great!

I've always been very interested in the Jet Stars. How would you describe their sound?

I wonder if they ever made any lefties.

That looks just like my old one.  That is the Hagstrom pickup they used on the Swede basses.  I thought it sounded good.

I'm guessing this small humbucker is also the same pickup as used on the 70s Hagstom HIIBN (I have one of those)

I really don't like the combination, it just looks wrong. Like someone added a bridge pickup. I'm sure it sounds good though.

And no still waiting for my baby... but i'm sure it'll be here any day. Come on postie!
