I think Scott sold one recently for a lot less than that.

I did sell my pearl white one, it was pretty ratty. I forget what I got for it, nowhere near 700. The one you're looking at is a unusual color with the stadium logo. $700 isn't a steal but if you had to have it you won't regret it. I still have my gunmetal blue one with factory Kahler whammy bar.

That one's kind of ratty for $700.

Thanks for the info, fellas. I guess I'll pass on this one for now. I don't need to have it, just thought it looked kinda cool, plus I've just recently bought a couple other pieces, so should probably hold off on spending for awhile. Thanks again.

That isn't too bad for $700 shipped IMO. Shipping isn't cheap on something as large as that box will be. But for not a lot more there are a couple more for sale at the moment. Great basses!!! I have an 82 Blitz that is fantastic!!

I want to say that some of the more pristine ones have been pulling in the low-1Ks these days, but it probably has a lot to do with timing and demand. Haven't been watching that closely... but it seems like they don't pop up quite as much as they used to.
HFC forum is probably the best place to ferret one out when ready (via WTB post).
