Well I've been working on this for awhile now finally collected all the parts,  got the neck finished and all assembled.  Bass consists of a alder Allparts body and neck, W/B/Pearloid pg, Gotoh lollipop tuners, Squire string through bridge and a Rio Grande pickup.  I'm really happy with this build it came out just as I hoped.  :) 8)

Nice one! Sounds great. I'd love to have a '51-style P bass. But I'm downsizing... Eventually...

So very nice of you to acknowledge Woodies great bass work! I always thought it's a pity that he came into the Stones as a guitarist, who needs two Keith? Stones should have waited, and then brought Woodie on board when Wyman pulled the plug. T-h-a-t would have modernized the Stones sound.

A great bassist!

And when you're done rocking out with it Ron Wood style, you can get down and funky with it Verdine White style. One slight difference, his had clover keys as you can see after 15:00.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.
