You could use an image of "mother of pearl" on the clef instead of black/white...

I thought about that, but it doesn't look right to me.

This is my fave:

Looks good Doc!  I would with agree Mojo though - to me the bass clef is too dominant and my eye seems to focus on the clef first.  I also agree that shading, screening, sizing and or color on the bass clef would improve it- IMO. ;D

You guys are probably right, but I do like it the way it is.  I like the dominant bass cleft and I can't wrap my mind around the cleft as the "D" in Dr.  But I really do appreciate the suggestions.  Like all things artistic, it's a matter of taste.  Even if you don't have any like me!!!   :P

It's your baby - do it how you like it!

As for taste - I've been informed for years that I have none ;D  You'd think that my mom would be little gentler on me though? ;)

I don't like the bass clef as D either. IMO the layout is fine as is, just pick your favorite font.

Wow, your Mom's tough!  Yeah, being artistic has never been my forte.

The most important thing is to go by your instincts/gut-feeling...

What feels right to you is all that counts, Doc...  ;)

I like the spaghetti letters . I agree the clef in mop or paoa shell(my favorite). Doc I have a sheet some where  but I imagine you would have  the inlay done by  an inlay expert. That chit is brittle as all hell. Im sure you could have the whole thing done by someone . Keep us posted . I gotta find that guild body I bought......
