Same here. They don't show up at all. My browser tries to download all the clips on each page, but they crap out with a "to many redirects" message. Been like that for a couple months at least.

Thanks! Over the last year I've been bitten by amp GAS, which I never really had before. I went through a few amps back when I was starting out (even bought a brand new SVT in 1983; the all black one), but once I settled on a GK800RB I was satisfied for decades. In that time I bought a few SVTs here and there but could never get what I wanted out of them so they went on their way. At the beginning of last year I bought a Super Bassman after reading some glowing reviews and liking how they sounded in clips I saw, but I quickly found it wasn't for me. I found a guy locally who wanted to trade his 2018 SVT classic for a Super Bassman. I figured the SVT would sell easier than the Bassman (which seems to have an avid but small fanbase, as opposed to the SVT which is still popular among many who don't mind humping their gear. The crazy thing is that I loved what I heard when I plugged it in, and then I started missing the B4 I got in a trade a decade ago and sold even though I liked how it sounded. Long story short, here's where I am at the moment:

I'm also expecting a delivery tomorrow with an Ashdown CTM30 Little Stubby that I want to A/B with the PF50-T. If it sounds as good to me as it does in the clip below, I'll just keep them both.

Khruangbin. Stumbled across this band last night and it made me wonder if Andy Scott had a son from Texas, but once I zeroed in on the bassist I forgot all about that. This stuff is super chill but it stuck with me all day today so I ordered a few CDs.

So beautiful... You do Thunderbirds like they were meant to be done!

My first Scorpions show was pre Blackout, but not by much. Then almost every time they came near Los Angeles until (i think) 1999. Those earlier shows were incredible for their great sound/playing, and Klaus' insane energy. For such a little guy he got around those stages with a wild abandon most other front men in that era couldn't touch. That alone made up for the cheesy stage banter and lyrics (though I also grew tired of the formula by LAFS). I like that new song though. For some reason, I can forgive that cheesy level of sentimentality from Klaus. I wasn't too sure who was who in those childhood photos, except for Mikkey. Hell, except for the hair, he hasn't changed at all!

...

It got so bad at the Dudepit for awhile that every old cheap husk on eBay was posted as "Darkstar candidate?" Ridiculous! Those basses did retain some value for awhile, but only because the same group of people were buying them from each other...

 That made me laugh because I totally remember that.

I also like tort on the right colors (including burst), but it has to be a good looking tort as well, like on the above (great looking) P.

Great article. I don't claim any expertise on the subject, but I like the idea that he's trying to look at it dispassionately and simply figure out who played what (and on what version).

I remember planning on getting one, but for some reason I didn't. I still kick myself for selling my DPLE Jazz.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. Are you going to go the Fenderbird route with the neck? The pocket outline gives that impression but I figured I'd ask. I'm pretty sure it'll sound great no matter which way you decide to build it!

He's like Pat Metheny playing with a hard rock bassist and drummer (both of them skillful, but essentially hard rock based).

I totally agree. For all the attention the other guys got over the years, I think Alex may be the most accomplished musician in the band. That's not to belittle the incredible talent and skill of the other two either, it's just that Lifeson is that good.
