Not long after they were introduced, they started to evolve into a poor man's Strat: first an upper body horn and Strat pickups (like this one (http://i2.ebayimg.com/08/i/001/2c/f9/c668_12.JPG)), or the Deluxe (http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5489/dscn3263nt4.jpg) with a proper bridge; then 3 pickups, until they became the MIJ Squier Bullet which is almost a Strat.

I liked them when they had some sort of uniqueness, like this early one (http://i20.ebayimg.com/02/i/001/2a/45/887b_1.JPG) ($425 BIN).

Post by: Saf on February 21, 2009, 05:20:53 PM: sound kinda funny I think. The body is made of plywood. at least the ones I've seen were made of plywood. Plywood doesn't instantly mean that it is bas or something like that but you have to consider that.
