Maybe, maybe not. I have a box in my garage, 51"x21"x8". To ship it from  Ohio to Illinois with a 10 lb total weight would cost $28.50, to ship the same thing to California would be $58.29. So this seller is just covering his assets, taking the easy way instead of using calculated shipping.

BTW, this makes a nice case for a Bachbird with a little modification.
