It's a nice bass in real life! The red looks a bit cheapish. Off white or sunburst would be a better choice on this bass, I think.

Agreed. I have no doubt it's up to CS quality standards but for that amount of money I would expect them to be able to build 2 custom basses to my specs ....and leave me with enough leftover cash to buy a handful of Peavey T-40s.  ;)
