Best beer awards/names

I happened across this and read through it with passing interest.  Not being a huge beer drinker I just skimmed through it - that is until I got to the top 10 beer names - number one has one of the best beer names ever

Pretty interesting.  I'll have to forward this to my son.  One of the award winners, Cigar City Brewing, is the one place I've visited.  My son wanted to go there when we were near Tampa.  They operate in a small warehouse space.

None of my son's favorites, nor his employer, made the list.

I see that in the list of awards, Oskar Blues just south of us won in at least three categories.  Good fer 'em!

San Tan Brewery is my local microbrew. Nice to see they made the list with Sex Panther.

georgia breweries won twelve medals including number two. but since the competition was held here...

A couple of NC breweries in there. Mother Earth raked in a lot of medals! Fullsteam in Durham won and Lonerider here in Raleigh won a couple.
