I remember discsussing the ESP and the Edwards RD clones a few years ago. Wasn't there a Japanese band that endorsed these?

The guy from Dir En Grey uses the white one (might be his sig model?). I've seen a couple of pics of other Japanese bands using them with different finishes.

That was the name I couldn't remember!
Somehow how I had Tyr Na Nog in my head ;D
But googling for that name didn't result in pics of an RD bass  ;)

There are a few video's on Youtube with him using the white RD.

I used to see these pop up on Ebay once in a while. Haven't noticed any lately. In the Jaoanese auctions they would list it as his sig model. Cant think of his name right now tho.

Found a picture of him with a silver burst:

I'm not really impressed by the sound of this bass (if that is the one he actually recorded it with)...
Too much clickety-clack for my taste.

oops... quite liked that one... not heard of them before... definitely an agressive sound from the bass...

Here is another clip from the same album with the same bass:

No idea if he records with it or not.

I don't know how to NOT post these video's twice??

The white one is really cool

I think I like it better than the Gib... or maybe I should just be quiet...

I like the sound of the bass but then I like a lot of click and fret bounce. It sounds to me like its been tuned down.
I love the translations....classic  ;D

Just use the regular URL with nothing added. That's the way our board plugin works. You're using the embed code, which doesn't work right with the plugin.

Cheers for that, Andy... definitely works for me...

Is it me or is there a Ric (ish) edge to the sound...?
