That is still pretty much how I knew it. The hornets were new to me. They are a protected species in Germany, you're not allowed to move their nests even for tenant intimidation as seems to be the practice in NYC.

Sounds to me like she shot at him in rage, something she might not have done without the drugs. She probably didn't shoot to kill, but just had a(n) (un)lucky aim, but then even in America shooting at people is generally considered potentially harmful to their health.

It goes to show: Your spouse is statistically the most likely person to kill you. (Is bachelorhood then the key to a long life? There is always this piece of good advice by the Rabbi who was approached by a bachelor: "Rabbi, I want to live forever, what can I do?" The Rabbi: "Well, why don't you marry then?" The bachelor: "Marry?! That's not gonna make me live a day longer!" The Rabbi: "Of course it won't, but your silly wish will go away!")

And my EB from Felix' estate is the fruit of a crime tragedy.  :-\

A lot I knew and a lot I did not... so sad...
Gail's art was always somewhat striking, but also quite disturbing...

Gail died of Cancer in Mexico in 2013 in case anyone was wondering or hadn't already heard. Weird to think I'm about the same age now as Felix was when he passed. There will never be another guy like Felix, at least I can't imagine someone in a major band cranking up an EB-1 on stage like he did. Would be cool if someone did though.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Even though the article is new, I figured that the quotes about her whereabouts must have been old. Until her body was discovered in Mexico, she had been invisible for many years.

OTOH the article doesn't mention that she was convicted of negligent homicide and did serve a couple of years in prison. Nowhere nearly enough but better than getting off scot-free.

There was a brief mention of her being "released" in there somewhere, iirc...

And let's keep the Scot's out of this...

True, but she had been jailed awaiting trial anyway. Not mentioning that she was a convicted felon changes the story.

McHoots Mon...

Got to agree on the way that "colours" the story, re not mentioning her conviction...
