I agree with everything Rob says. I did use it with the band. It sounds great and warm, but it cuts though too!

The mp3 sounds a lot like a 60's bird to me. Hopefully Bach will figure out shipping to the U.S. soon.

Im way too excited about this bass. Now even more so with the Woody-esque sound bite . He would be excited as well. Sounds a little fatter and more even than a sixties Bird. As you would expect from a newly produced bass. Impressive.

I tend to agree, also sounds a little more compressed, but could be recording or settings.

This is probably the pickup Bach uses (the silver one without the exposed poles), seems musicman-ish to me.

And steel blades; so it is a blade pickup with AlNiCo 5 magnets. Dunno if the AlNiCo is the blades or beneath the blades...........
